Would you like to be able to jump to different slides in your presentation, based on your audience interest? You can do that with slide hyperlinking, a very useful feature few people know about. Use this to create links directly to other slides in the presentation making it interactive.

In the example below, the left slide contains three links to different parts of the presentation. Clicking on Part 1 jumps to Part 1 in the presentation. The right slide contains a link back to the home slide.

Many PowerPoint users are not aware how to use an Excel chart in presentations. You can copy the chart from Excel, however if the chart is updated in Excel, no updates are made to the chart in PowerPoint. Best to embed the chart in the presentation; when the chart is updated in Excel, the presentation chart will also be updated.

If you would like to learn how to embed an Excel chart into a PowerPoint presentation, contact me at sharon_daniel@att.net for a free consultation on how to do that.

Use PointPoint Shapes in your presentations to add interest and to emphasize a point. Shapes are effective in communicating ideas such as the 3 steps for defining a presentation represented in the example below.
